  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University.
  • Bachelor of General Studies (business concentration) from Armstrong State University. Honored as a notable alumnus in 2011. Distinguished Military Graduate.
  • Adjunct Professor in the Andrew Young School of Public Policy Studies at Georgia State University (2005 – 2011).
  • Professional Instructor in the Continuing Education Department for the Professional in Human Resources Certification at The University of West Georgia (2003 – 2006).

  • Married to Diane for 32 years. She has served this community as a nurse at Emory DeKalb Hospital for 26 years.
